Join us for a tour of the Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway, a nearly two-mile stretch of Caltrans-owned open space between Montgomery High School and Spring Lake Park. These 45+ acres were formerly slated as an extension of Hwy 12. Learn more about a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a new community vision for this land. Easy urban walk; 3-4 miles; LandPaths is partnering with the the Southeast Greenway Campaign for this outing
In collaboration with the Southeast Greenway Campaign
We'll take a 3-4 mile walk along the edges of the property (sidewalks with a few grass and possibly muddy sections) and learn more about a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a new community vision for this land.
Residents at Yulupa Cohousing have invited us to stop there on the way back for a dinner break and to hear a little more about the campaign.
When: We'll meet at 5:30 pm. We should finish by 7-7:30.
Where: We'll convene at Montgomery High School in the parking lot near the tennis courts, off of Hoen Ave. Biking, walking and carpooling are encouraged!
Details, Details:
