Explore property:  Grove of Old Trees

Find respite from the busyness of late summer for this short walk at the Grove of the Old Trees near Occidental. This beautiful 28-acre grove of ridgetop old-growth redwoods is protected by the District and owned and managed by LandPaths. Meditation instructor Susan McCarn will introduce 'mindful walking' and encourage us to give our full attention to the sights, smells, and sounds of the natural world.

The Open Space District protects land in Sonoma County and LandPaths connects you with that land. This program is made possible though a unique partnership between the Sonoma County Ag Preservation & Open Space District and its non-profit partner LandPaths. It is sponsored by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, and is coordinated & guided by LandPaths.
