Bring the whole family for an easy walk to see feathered friends. We'll explore District-protected Petaluma Marsh along the Petaluma River, including new Ellis Creek trails, hoping to spot some of the nearly 150 bird species that call this place home.
Easy walk; 2 or 5 mile options; BYO binoculars and picnic lunch;
The Open Space District protects land in Sonoma County and LandPaths connects you with that land. This program is made possible though a unique partnership between the Sonoma County Ag Preservation & Open Space District and its non-profit partner LandPaths. It is sponsored by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, and is coordinated & guided by LandPaths.
