PLEASE NOTE: Signing up for Outings/Events through our website does not guarantee space on an outing. You are not registered for the spaces you request until you receive a second email from LandPaths confirming that you are in or that you are on a waitlist.
On many of our outings, space is limited and reservations are required. This helps us to plan for and staff the outings appropriately.
The preferred way to sign up for one of our outings is via our online calendar. For those without access to the internet, you can also leave a message on LandPaths Outings/Events message line at 707.524.9318.
To sign up online, follow these steps:
Request space via our online calendar (you will receive a copy of this request by email);
Look for a second email confirming that you are in or that the outing is full and you are on a waitlist (we strive to send this email within 2-3 business days, but due to the number of inquiries, it sometimes takes us a bit longer);
Details for the outing (including exact meeting location and directions) are then sent to participants approximately 3 - 5 days in advance of the outing.
If you do not receive a confirmation or details, please contact us at outings@landpaths.org.
We strive to respond to all requests within 2-3 business days, but due to the number of inquiries, it sometimes takes us a bit longer. If you are requesting space within two days of an outing, we may not be able to confirm your request. Please give us as much notice as possible.
LandPaths' outings are open to the public. Many are offered at no cost through the sponsorship of our agency partners. Others are not sponsored and LandPaths requests a sliding scale donation to offset LandPaths costs. A few outings are offered as fundraisers.
Waitlists & Cancellations
Most of our Outings/Events fill up and have a waitlist, so please let us know asap if you or anyone in your group will be unable to attend.
Cancellations create additional work for our staff, so please sign up only for outings you are likely to join.
If you are on a waitlist, you will be contacted only if space becomes available, on a first come, first served basis.
LandPaths' outings are intended to give all members of our community a chance to get outside. Due to increasing demand, most of our outings fill up and some have lengthy waitlists. If you have previously joined us on a particular outing or property, please consider waiting to sign up until others have had a chance to do so. If the outing is still open the week before it's scheduled, go ahead and sign up.
Questions?
For questions or if you experienced any problems with the online reservation process, please contact our Outings desk (outings@landpaths.org) or call LandPaths' Outings / Events message line at 707.524.9318.
