Celebrate the first day of spring and get an up close look at the Laguna de Santa Rosa
at dusk. We'll join the Laguna Foundation to explore Alpha Farm, a District-protected
property that supports both local agriculture and wildlife habitat. We'll keep our eyes
out for owls, bats, coyotes and other Laguna residents, talk about Laguna restoration
projects, and enjoy a picnic dinner.
Families encouraged! 2-3 mile easy walk with uneven footing, BYO picnic dinner and flashlight
The Open Space District protects land in Sonoma County and LandPaths connects you with that land. This program is made possible though a unique partnership between the Sonoma County Ag Preservation & Open Space District and its non-profit partner LandPaths. It is sponsored by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, and is coordinated & guided by LandPaths.
