Outing Information

Explore a piece of the ‘wetland empire' of southern Sonoma County. The tide will be right to join Dave Yearsley of Friends of the Petaluma River for this tour of the Petaluma Marsh from the inside. Wind is likely and we'll have a short portage. Space is limited.

 

Flatwater paddling; BYO canoe or kayak.        

The Open Space District protects land in Sonoma County and LandPaths connects you with that land.  This program is made possible though a unique partnership between the Sonoma County Ag Preservation & Open Space District and its non-profit partner LandPaths.  It is sponsored by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, and is coordinated & guided by LandPaths.
