Explore property: Taylor Mountain Open Space Preserve
Join us for an amazing evening led by Stargazer Li at the Taylor Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve. Under the summer stars and guided by a green laser wand, we'll learn to find our way around the night sky and the names of the stars and constellations, while hearing stories from different times and cultures. We'll hike up the mountain and look for Jupiter, Andromeda, the Dragon, the Summer Triangle and more...
Families welcome! 1-2 miles; moderate hiking and lots of time for stargazing
The Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation & Open Space District protects land in Sonoma County and LandPaths connects you with that land. This program is made possible though a partnership between the District and non-profit partner LandPaths. It is sponsored by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, and is coordinated & guided by LandPaths.
