Outing Information

Get up close and personal with organic vegetable and meat production in Petaluma. Inspired by Michael Pollan's The Omnivore's Dilemma, Tara Smith started Tara Firma Farm and CSA.  With a conservation easement from your Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation & Open Space District, the farm also has plans for a 2.5 mile public trail.

The Open Space District protects land in Sonoma County and LandPaths connects you with that land.  This program is made possible though a unique partnership between theSonoma County Ag Preservation & Open Space District and its non-profit partner LandPaths.  It is sponsored by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, and is coordinated & guided by LandPaths.
