Volunteer Patrol / Trail Watch

Volunteer Patrol & Trail Watch programs provide a means for land-owning agencies to receive timely property reports-without spending limited staff time. Volunteers send reports on everything from maintenance needs to wildlife sightings. These reports help with property planning & resource managment.

LandPaths currently partners with the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation & Open Space District to facilitate a Volunteer Patrol program at three District owned properties that are still in the planning phase and not yet ‘open access': Taylor Mountain, Carrington Ranch, and Jacobs Ranch.

LandPaths also facilitates a Trail Watch program at two properties that are open Willow Creek State Park Addition (permit access; in partnership with State Parks) and Healdsburg Ridge (open access; in partnership with the City of Healdsburg and the District).

Check our calendar for upcoming Volunteer Patrol / Trail Watch trainings.  For more information, contact LandPaths Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@LandPaths.org.
