A Bohemian Thanks to Volunteers, Sponsors, Speakers, & Partners

A Bohemian Thank You!  ¡Un Gracias por parte de Bohemia!

With your help, we celebrated our new Bohemia Ecological Preserve in style...

What a celebration! By the numbers: over 700 community members enjoyed 'open meadows' on May 6, hosted by over 60 incredible volunteers & staff, & made possible by 2 dozen key partners & sponsors.

Thanks to Jim Weathers and Kate Williams for many of these pics...and to Jeremy Mace for the Circle Dance here for album (including video).

If you would like to visit Bohemia Ecological Preserve Again...

Our 'open meadows' celebration gave us a chance to welcome the community to explore this wonderful preserve.  However, the preserve is currently still open only via guided tours, volunteer stewardship days, and special events.  There is no permit program at this time.

We are working to address issues such as parking, trails, and fragile natural resources (such as Duvall Creek leading up to the waterfall - which is habitat for coho and steelhead).

In the meantime, we have been busy training volunteer docents and trail watchers.  These volunteers will allow us to expand the number of tours we offer - so stay tuned for more coming up later this spring and summer! We will also have more volunteer workdays announced soon, and additional docent training next spring.

This 'People Powered Preserve' relies on your support.  If you haven't had a chance to donate, please do so here.

We have tried to capture all of our incredible volunteers, partners, sponsors, & speakers in the list on this page. If we've missed someone, PLEASE let us know ASAP at [email protected]  Intentamos incluir a todos que nos ayudaron en el día pero si olvidamos de alguien, ¡favor de dejarnos saber!
