Volunteer Opportunities

Stewardship Workdays & Stewardship Crew

volunteer_stewardshipLend a hand at one of LandPaths' "People Powered Parks and Preserves."  No experience or training necessary. LandPaths also provides additional training for Stewardship Crew members and leaders

Our current calendar of scheduled Volunteer workdays includes the following locations:

  • Bayer Farm: 3rd Saturday of every month, plus other dates TBA.
  • Riddell Preserve: 2nd Saturday of every month, and other dates TBA
  • Grove of Old Trees: dates TBA
  • Bohemia Ecological Preserve: 3rd Friday of every month.
  • Willow Creek: 1st Wednesday of every month
  • Healdsburg Ridge: 1st Friday of every month
  • Rancho Mark West: dates TBA

In Our Own Backyard (IOOBY) & Owl Camp

Group Volunteering

Volunteering as a group is a great way to build community and teamwork while completing a worthwhile task. Community, Corporate, Youth, and School groups are all encouraged to volunteer on one of LandPaths Preserves.  Scheduling a group workday will usually take between 2-3 weeks, depending on time of year.  Groups can volunteer to work on a variety of tasks pertaining to preserve and natural resource management.  To schedule your groups’ unique volunteer experience or to get more information, contact LandPaths.

Stewardship Internship

Are you a recent graduate or a student currently in a conservation/environmental or related degree program?  Join LandPaths as a stewardship intern to gain valuable field and office experience in many aspects of natural resource and preserve management.  Click here to download a Internship Description.

 


Docent Program

Current program focuses on Bohemia Ecolocial Preserve. Training offered at least once per year.
