Why: Connect with nature and other campers in a fun environment
Cost: $320 with full and partial scholarships available

Root your child in nature with LandPaths over spring break! Modeled after our award-winning IOOBY, spring break campers get to hike the trails, explore life on the creek and under logs, make new friends, and go on nature adventures at beautiful Preston Farm.

Each day will include time for:

  • A science practices focused lesson or exploration
  • nature journaling and reflection
  • a lesson on garbology (the study of our trash!)
  • free play in the fields and orchards

At the heart of our camp is the opportunity for every camper to build memorable connections with the land, a foundation for a healthy community that deeply values caring for each other and the land.

Scholarships

LandPaths offers full and partial scholarships to ensure financial inequities are not a barrier to participation. All families are asked to pay between $50 to $160 based on need. Scholarships will be offered based on need and space availability. The deadline for applications is March 11, 2022. We will continue to accept more applications after March 11, 2022 if there is availability. We will review and accept applications on a rolling basis. All scholarship applicants will hear back from LandPaths no later than March 16, 2022. Please note that filling out this application is the first step of the process and does not guarantee that you will be awarded a scholarship. If you are awarded a scholarship, it is required that participants register and attend all days of the camp. Thank you for your application!

*Please note that filling out the scholarship application is the first step in the process. It does not actually guarantee a scholarship.

Staff Safety Training

Our staff of CPR and first aid-certified, college-educated, skilled, and trained field specialists have years of experience working with youth in outdoor settings. Staff to camper ratio is generally one staff to 10 campers. Skilled and trained volunteers assist throughout the day, making the adult to camper ratio closer to 1 adult to 5 campers. All staff and volunteers have been fingerprinted.
