Bilingual Executive Administrative Specialist
Angelica Steinman (she/her/ella) joined LandPaths in December 2021 as the Bilingual Executive Administrative Specialist. She brings twenty years of diverse work experience to the administrative team including roles in accounts payable, reception, and scheduling. Because of her willingness to try new roles, she has found that she best enjoys working for non-profits in an administrative role. She looks forward to working with the LandPaths team doing what she loves most, helping improve the quality of life for the members of its community.
Angelica was born in California, but grew up moving around to different states and out of the country. As a kid, she lived for four years in her mother’s home country, Costa Rica, where she learned Spanish and connected with her Latinx family. Her parents and four siblings enjoy spending time in nature, so they took advantage of as many opportunities as possible to explore the beautiful beaches, jungles and volcanoes in the country.
Angelica moved to Santa Rosa in 2001 and attended SRJC where she received her Associates Degree in Dance. She spent many years immersed in the local dance community. She danced with a local Modern dance company: Risk Dance, and they performed with a SF based program called Vision Series which connected local adult companies as mentors to high school dance groups. But her experiences as a kid gave her a passion for exploring new places, which led her to a short career as a domestic flight attendant in 2017. It was in that career where she realized Sonoma County is one of the most beautiful places on earth. So, she decided to move back, set down more permanent roots, and continue to explore new places in our region.
In her free time, Angelica dances with a local Latin dance team: Latin Elements, she attends live performances, enjoys yoga, and cooking healthy organic meals; but her absolute favorite thing is snuggling and giggling with her partner and their young daughter.
