  • Where: Bayer Farm, Santa Rosa
  • When: October 20 – November 12; Tuesdays and Thursdays; 3pm -5pm
  • Who: You, your friends, and LandPaths’ Education Field Specialists!

Are you eager to get outside and interested in music, movement and art? Come discover and explore your creativity and self-expression this Fall at Bayer Farm and Garden! Exploring Creative Arts and Building Community at Bayer Farm is a multicultural collaborative dedicated to empowering youth in our local community, using art, music, and movement inspired by our love of nature. We will tend to the garden – harvest, plant seeds, gather food and medicine, make compost, and explore the ecology of the garden. Inspired by our hands-on work in the soil, we’ll then create music, explore movement, songwriting, poetry, and more!

Whether you’re an experienced artist or it’s your first time exploring creative arts, everyone is welcome!

No experience or equipment is needed to participate, just bring your passion, curiosity and enthusiasm! (You are welcome to bring your own musical instruments but not required.) Our goal is to create and learn together while tending to the land and building community, celebrating our connection to nature.

This unique after school teen program will be led by members of LandPaths’ Youth Initiative. Besides their extensive background in environmental education and experience in working with youth outdoors, read below to discover their breadth of creative talents and passions:
